Delaware Afterschool Alliance offers a wide range of opportunities for creating high quality, professionally staffed, and well supported afterschool programs throughout the state. A major benefit to afterschool providers is the size of our state, it is easier for groups to meet and share best practices, to convene statewide annual trainings and conferences, and to share resources. The ability to travel with relative ease creates unique networking opportunities so that we may speak with one voice and develop policies and procedures that will have a lasting and positive impact on the afterschool workforce, programs, and the young people we serve throughout Delaware.
The keys to success within the Alliance and its mission are its ability to bring together people and organizations in successful collaborations, creation of a strong advocacy voice with partners organizations. Establishing the highest standards for quality programming, and ensuring that the staff that are creating opportunities for our young people have and opportunity to become successful in the chosen career field.
